Once you uninstall the IntelliPoint software, the scroll wheel will work in iTunes, but the scroll speed is inconsistent and borderline unusable. With the IntelliPoint software installed (which you need to program the buttons), the scroll wheel just will not work in iTunes (at least on my Vista desktop).
